Mavisehir, which means Blue City, is situated 10 minutes along the coast from Altinkum. This is a small, quiet and beautifully relaxed village which has a peaceful ambience during the summer months.

The small sea front has a selection of restaurants and bars where you can watch the small fishing boats bobbing on the water it is also famous for it beautiful sunsets.

Mavisehir has a lovely night market which opens from May until the end of September, serving quality souvenirs, leather goods, exotic spices, apple tea, clothes, shoes and fresh fruit and vegetables.  Inside the market, there are also stalls serving traditional Turkish snacks.

Opposite the entrance road to the night market is the fairly new go-karting arena, great fun for the kids as well as for the young at heart.

There are a handful of shops and a few restaurants.  The Didim Aquapark is located a further 5 minutes drive from Mavisehir providing lots of fun for everyone during the hot days of summer.
